Ballot for 2024:
Enrolment at College Street Normal School is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office and on the school’s website.
Parents of children who live within the home zone and intend enrolling their child at any time during 2024 should notify the school as soon as possible to assist us with planning.
The board has determined that:
Six (6) places are likely to be available for out-of-zone New Entrant students who have a date of birth between 01 May 2019 and Wednesday 5 July 2019.
Two (2) places are likely to be available for out-of-zone Year 2 students who have a date of birth between 1 May 2017 and 30 April 2018.
The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.
The enrolment period runs from 01 May, 2024 to 5 July, 2024. Your child will need to start attending College Street Normal School between these dates.
For students seeking enrolment within the first enrolment period, the deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is Friday 08 March 2024.
If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot for out-of-zone places is required, it will be held on Monday 11 March, 2024. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
