COMMUNITY NOTICES:

• Starship Hospital Cell Phone Fundraiser:

Everyone knows about the wonderful work that the doctors and nurses do on behalf of sick children at the Starship Hospital. As always, more money would

be very helpful to allow the Starship Foundation to purchase new items of equipment. One way we can assist is to recycle old cell phones. The Starship can get

anything between $2 and $20 per phone (depending on cell phone type). This can be used to provide both medical and non-medical items that will benefit both the patients and their care-givers. We therefore seek your help and request that students from College Street Normal consider handing in to the School Office any old cell phones that they have available. Your assistance would be very much appreciated.

• After School Kids Holiday Programme - July 12-16th: There are still a few places available for the upcoming holidays. You can check this out  and enrol your child at www.afterschoolkids.co.nz or phone Christina on  355 9082.
• French Classes: Classes available for children  3 years & upwards, after school on Wednesday & Friday at CSNS. Different levels & age groups. Holiday programmes also available. • Holiday workshops at KA-ZART Studio, 233 Main Street. Pencil case making, Jewellery, Art on Canvas, Scrapbooking & Paint a Plate. Second week of the school holidays for 8 year olds and older. Phone Karen on 355 0805 to book. Limited numbers.
• Hockey Skills Coaching Clinic: 5 -7 July at Endeavour Trust Twin Turfs (Manawaroa Street) from 9am - 3pm.  Cost $45 per day.

• Treasure Hunt Sunday 13th June, Victoria Esplanade, Palmerston North. Come on kids, bring your family and have some fun!
